Project Overview:
This project involved the fabrication and installation of two new jetty shelters. We were given a concept design, which we tweaked until the customer was happy. Work included in-house 3D modelling, fabrication, and offsite blasting and painting to marine specifications. For installation, the team had to design wheels which bolted onto the sides of the two shelters so they could be pushed into position along the jetty. Our commercial vessel, RUFUS, was used for installation of the ‘under jetty’ backing plates.
