This project required the design and fabrication of two maintenance platforms to be used at Garden Island in WA by the ASC.
Work included a full design review, update and safety initiatives whilst supporting ASC’s unique requirements. Design and review updates were done in accordance with ER-995.
Other work included fabrication, blasting and painting, FRP grating and treads, handrails with safety chain, and fire retardant protective netting (to prevent items falling from the howdah which is 15-20 metres above the ground when installed).
Prior to arranging transport to WA, we conducted a pre-delivery trial assembly. Full MDR, NDT and QA documentation were required for this project, which was completed on time and on budget.
