This project included the fabrication and installation of a 1T overhead crane and associated support steelwork at the sewer pumping station in Goolwa. Our scope of works included 3D site scanning, steel detailing, fabrication, hot dip galvanising and installation all to the council’s high standards.
This project provided us with some unique challenges, which included site access and installation methodology. Due to the pump station building being an existing structure, we had to work with the engineers to come up with a design solution to not only fit it in the tight space, but to be installed without damaging existing services or infrastructure. Once again, our ‘can-do’ attitude and bespoke installation methodology provided the key to success on this challenging project.
