Project Overview
This project included fabrication, delivery and installation of 5-off pedestrian bridge canopies for the Southern Expressway Duplication Project. The scope of works included a site survey of cast-in ferrules, steel detailing, fabrication, hot dip galvanising and installation at all 5 locations. The external artwork was provided by others and installed in our yard prior to delivery.
During installation care had to be taken not to damage the structure or artwork, once installed as it would be difficult to access and repair. Due to the lane closures required, timing was critical for the delivery and installation. Our site crews worked in well with our client installing them in a timely fashion without incident, which was a fantastic result.
