Josh Paterson began working for Williams Metal Fabrications in 2011 as a trade-qualified boilermaker. His strong communication, leadership and people skills helped him become the workshop’s leading hand, and after several years, he was promoted to his current role as Production Manager.

Josh serves as the conduit between the team on the workshop floor and management, and he’s also in charge of providing clients with regular updates and ensuring that their jobs stay on schedule and on budget. He’s known for being someone who can speak to people from all generations and from many different backgrounds. He’s very sensitive to the needs of others and also likes to be a bit of a jokester at times! People respect him, and so they want to do their best both for him and the organisation.

Josh enjoys the challenges at Williams Metal Fabrications and the variety of work that the company does. Some of his favourite projects have included the creation of aluminum gangways, concrete tank molds, and the fenders built for the Port Bonython project.
