Stuart Rogers

Director – General Manager

Stuart began work at Williams Metal Fabrications as a Project Manager and Estimator. Now as co-owner and General Manager, Stuart plays a key role in setting the overall strategic direction of the company alongside the board. With a particular emphasis on developing and executing the company’s business strategy, sales and business development, Stuart’s role ensures that the business continues to grow by way of building client relationships, and in helping estimators, production teams and customers to achieve schedules and targets.

With excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, he’s a self-motivated and resourceful manager who develops and strengthens management teams.  He’s also known for being easy-going – if he sees team members who are down or stressed out, he always helps to lighten the mood with a joke!

Stuart’s MBA – not common in the industry – is very valuable in his job. He is a member of PADI as a diving professional (divemaster), and a Technoweld advisory board member. He’s also currently a student pilot seeking a private pilot’s license (PPL) – which would further diversify and develop the company’s capabilities.

Since starting at Williams Metal Fabrications in May 2006, Stuart has worked on a wide variety of projects, and notes that one of his most enjoyable was the Santos Port Bonython jetty breasting dolphin rehabilitation project. This project had many challenges and was a great example of the company’s can-do attitude and ability to go above and beyond in metal fabrication and installation.
